Surui® Robot Partners with IRCAD at SRS World Robotics Conference

During the four-day conference, the Surui® robot attracted the attention of global experts with its cutting-edge technical strength and increasingly rich clinical practice. As a special guest, Professor Xu Kai, founder of Surui® Robot and Shanghai Jiaotong University, attended the main conference and roundtable forum, and held high-level dialogues with many European, American and Asian robotics experts, company founders, and investment institution representatives on the global surgical robot market structure, technological innovation direction, regulatory challenges and cooperation prospects. He also systematically demonstrated the single-port surgical robot independently created by China to experts from all over the world, sending a loud signal: China's technological strength is no longer just a follower, but has stood at the forefront of technological innovation.

During the conference, Professor Diego Gonzalez Rivas, an international thoracic surgery expert, Director Wang Linhui of Changhai Hospital, Director Yan Zhilong and Dr. Liu Pengtao of Shanghai Children's Medical Center, and Director Wang Jun of Nanjing Children's Hospital, respectively, gave in-depth interpretations of the breakthrough applications of Surui's snake-arm surgical robot in the fields of thoracic surgery, adult urology and pediatric surgery at the main forum of the SRS conference. Experts focused on demonstrating the core technical advantages and clinical performance of the Surui® robot, especially its ability to achieve multi-directional flexible operation under ultra-small incisions and its excellent freedom of movement and precision of instruments in a small space, which triggered heated discussions and wide acclaim.

Strategic implementation: Surui® robot settled in IRCAD, France, to deepen global strategic cooperation

In addition to participating in the main forum of the SRS conference, Surui® robot was also invited to attend several special forums hosted by IRCAD, France, and showcased its robot platform and latest clinical results at the IRCAD headquarters. As one of the most influential minimally invasive surgical education centers in the world, IRCAD is known as the "Huangpu Military Academy of Global Minimally Invasive Surgery Training". It attracts tens of thousands of surgeons from more than 100 countries to come for training every year and is an important hub for the dissemination and exchange of international advanced surgical technologies.

On the morning of July 17, Surui® robot and IRCAD held a formal signing ceremony in Strasbourg, announcing the establishment of a long-term strategic partnership. After that, Surui will deploy a snake-arm single-port surgical robot at the IRCAD headquarters for surgeon training, scientific research and international course demonstrations. This will be the first single-port surgical robot independently developed by China to be stationed at IRCAD, marking the first time that China's original technology has systematically entered the international high-end training system, injecting oriental wisdom into global surgical robot education.

Through this cooperation, Surui® Robot will not only work with IRCAD to promote the integration of standardized training of surgical robot technology and global clinical practice, but will also use IRCAD's international platform to build a bridge connecting Chinese and global surgical experts, scientific research institutions and clinical teams, further strengthen China-Europe medical technology exchanges, enhance the international visibility and influence of China's original medical technology, and promote the establishment of a truly multi-center, cross-regional and sustainable global cooperation network.
